Interact Community Service Awards Party

Savana High.and.Buena Park High.Students and Advisors were honored. Rotary District Governor Lane Calvert, Snoopy and sixty guests atteneded the event. The location was at the Knott’s Resort Hotel in the O’Neil Room. The meal was Mrs. Knott’s Chicken, the dessert was provided by the Buena Park Interact Club. The beverages were provided by the Savanna Interact Club.

The door prizes were donated by Maha Rayn, Steve Chen, Don Prescott and the Salts Family.

Students were honored for their Community Service. There were also special awards for the ten students selected to attend the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp.

Carlos Franco was awarded a $500 scholarship for next fall. He plans to attend CSUF.

Carlos was an officer on the Interact District 5320 youth leadership team in 2006-07. He is now a College Rotaract Club Officer in the North Orange County Community Rotaract Club.
