Banner from Egypt received by Maha Ryan

Maha Ryan of Buena Park Rotary recently traded banners in Alexandria Egypt, Rotary Dist 2450. She lived Alexandria Egypt many years ago. She visited the Alexandria Rotary club with her father, when she was a child. Her dad was a Rotarian. President Shailesh Shah accepted the Banner at the Rotary meeting on September 5th. In the picture are AG Dennis Salts, Rotarian Armie Bailey, Maha Ryan and President Shailesh Shah. Buena Park Rotary is part of Rotary International, which has clubs in 200 countries around the world. There are over 1.3 million Rotarians.

Buena Park Rotary works locally with youth programs. The club sponsors two High School Interact Clubs and three College Rotaract Clubs.

The club meets each week at Mrs. Knotts Chicken Dinner Restaurant on Wednesdays at noon. Visitors are welcome luncheon cost is $12.

In June of 2008 the Rotary International Convention will be in Los Angeles, it is expected to be attended by 40,000 Rotarians, Interactors and Rotaractors.
