2011 Chamber Business Expo in Buena Park

The Buena Park Chamber of Commerce works closely with nearby Chambers. One of the results is an annual multi Chamber expo. This year on Thursday evening February 10th at the Knott’s Resort Hotel a terrific Expo occurred. The sponsoring Chambers were: Buena Park, La Palma, La Mirada and Stanton.
At the Expo BP Rotary and the Literature Connection shred a table. Our table was visited by most of the attendee’s. Pictured above is Chamber President Denise Simmerman presenting Christiane Salts, Rotary Club President, with a prize. The event was a success, with much mingling and excellent food provided by Don Prescott, General Manager of the Knott Hotel and fellow Rotarian. Booth helpers included Christiane and Dennis Salts, Ron Carnes (new Honorary Member), Carrie Salts, Baron Night, and Councilwoman Beth Swift. Other Rotarians at the event included Virginia and Kenny Vaughn (also pictured), who featured their own booth with Bella Dia Salon, Maha Rayan of Union Bank, and Councilman Miller Oh.
Adjacent to our table was a table sponsored by Christinae and Dennis Salts for Cypress College. Dennis is a past Cypress College Citizen of the year Honoree. For 2011 Rotarian Diane Scheerhorn, Ph.D. is the Buena Park Citizen of the Year. Diane will be honored at the Americana Gala on Feb. 26th ay the Disneyland Hotel.
