The Award was accepted by Club President Christiane Salts at the Knott’s Resort Hotel during
the PTA Council Awards Dinner on June 2, 2011

The Golden Oak Service Award is the most prestigious PTA award in California. This award is given to an individual or organization that has made significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth in the school or community.

Honorary Service Awards (HSA) recognize the service and dedication of both individuals and organizations. They may be awarded only by unit, council, district PTA and the California State PTA. These awards are presented by duly authorized PTA representatives at PTA sponsored meetings or functions.
