2011.07 8 North Korean Freedom Rally organized by Sam Kim
Buena Park Rotarian Congressman Ed Royce supported and participated in a Human Rights Rally in DC.
This year Sam Brownback was presented with a Special Appreciation Award by the Korean Church Coalition for North Korea Freedoms. The award was for being a Champion on Behalf of the Voiceless, our North Korean Brothers, Sisters, and Orphans of North Korea. Congressman Royce and Sam Brownback are in support of a strategy for assisting stateless children from North Korea.
“The KCC Washington DC events are over, but our call to continue to being the Voice for Freedom on behalf of the suffering North Korean Orphans in China is only beginning. Working together with all of our friends, NGOs and other volunteers, as of today, officially we have 19 co sponsors, and have commitment for 22 for H.R. 1464. Way to Go Everyone!!! We were also joined by Congressmen John Carter (Tx) and Charles Rangel (NY),” said Sam Kim.
