Scouting for Food in Buena Park

Scouting for Food is Orange County’s largest food drive involving four local groups. They are: the Boy and Girl Scout Councils of Orange County, Rotary District 5320 Interactors, and Second Harvest Food Bank. The food is distributed to the local needy. Buena Park Rotary Interact Clubs from Savanna High and Buena Park High are an integral part of the process. These students volunteer at the food collection sites each year in the fall. Savanna Interactors students who participated this year at the Orange Frontier Collection Site in Anaheim were: Crystal Carrillo, Princess Motomayor, Sophia Sundara, Jenna Nguyen, Minh Nguyen, Club President Ella Laino, and Adult Advisor Lisa Cruz.

Buena Park High Interactors who participated this year at Los Amigos Collection Site in Fullerton were: Isaac Jimenez, Michelle Iniguez, Jennifer Iniguez, Daniel Carranza, Luai Haqi, Deonte Weldon, Mohamed Altoma, Steve Cano, Cristina Rubio and Club President Sam Baek.
