2011.12 01 Needy Kids Christmas Shopping Spree

The annual Needy Kids Christmas Shopping Spree was on Dec 10th 2011
at the Buena Park Mall.

This event is a city-wide outreach project which has touched the lives of
thousands of young people over the years. This year 200 local students
got to shop at Sears, get a pair of shoes from Pay Less and receive a gift
from Santa. The value of the Christmas shopping is $150 for each student.
Buena Park Rotary had 69 Volunteers including HS Interactors.

Rotarians who volunteered were:
Elizabeth and Greg Swift, Christiane, Carrie and Dennis Salts, Ron and Cindy Carnes, Wei Chan, Moses Barrios, Baron Night, Elizabeth Saldana, Carlos Franco, Michele and Bryant Forster.

Buena Park High School Interactors who volunteered were:
Daniel Carranza, Michelle Iniquez, Jennifer Iniquez, Cristina Rubio and Samantha Ubillus.

Savanna High School Interactors who volunteered were:
Stephanie Alraro, Michelle Chavez, Renata Corte, Blanca Hernandez, Elisa Jackson, Ella Laino, Alejandra Matamoros, Marcy Miranda, Phong Nguyen, Ana Rayo, Andrew Santiago, and Tanairi Valencia.
