2012.03 02 High School Vocal Contest

Club President Elizabeth Swift organized a Singing Contest for high school students, and Buena Park High School Choir Director Lorraine Welling enlisted six eager students who came to impress us with their songs in the Musical Theatre genre.
Students were: Stacy Simbulan, Eugenia Huh, Nicholas Wassif, Holly Sawyer, Ruth Gonzalez, Ariana Arellenas. Baron Night, Megan McMillan, Steve Krogh. , and Kenny Vaughn were judges

One of todays Judges is a CSUF Theatre Arts student Megan McMillan. Megan sang for us and gave helpful tips on singing to the students.

Students were judged on Vocal Techniques, Interpretation, and Presentation. First-place winners were Nicholas Wassif and Ariana Arellenas. Second-place winners were Eugenia Huh and Stacy Simbulan. First-place winners will move on to compete at the district level.
