2012.09 01 Family Fossil Day Ralph Clark Park

For nearly 20, years Buena Park Rotary has partnered with Ralph Clark Park on Fossil Day.

Students and Parents tour the fossil dig and interapative center, followed by a free lunch provided by Rotary.

The state education standards include the study of fossls. Rotarians hand out coloring pages for students to learn more science and review what they learn on Family Fossil Day.

This year, the Rotary volunteers included, Club President Baron Night, Past Club presidents Elizabeth Swift, Christiane and Dennis Salts, and Rotarians Greg Swift and Kenny Vaughn.
