51 years at Knott’s Chricken Dinner Restaurant
Linda Pam Elliott received the Rotary International Vocational Service Award at a luncheon Wednesday.
During the Buena Park Rotary Club’s weekly Luncheon at Mrs. Knotts Restaurant on November 7th, Linda Pam Elliott was honored. Linda was hired by Cordelia Knott in 1956 and continues to work in the famous Chicken Dinner Restaurant. She celebrated her 51 year of service at Knott’s last April.
Don Prescott, Knotts Resort Hotel General Manager, was on hand to congratulate Linda at the ceremony.
Rotary Club President Shailesh Shah presented the Award. OC Supervisor Chris Norby and former Buena Park Mayor Tony Fonte were joined by Women’s Club President Donna Bagley in congratulating Linda.
Rotary Assistant Governor Dennis Salts mentioned that Rotary honors all vocations. Pam Elliot is an outstanding example of a waitress extraordinaire. She arrives at work early and is admired by all employees and customers. She has a terrific gift for serving people. Rotary salutes Linda Pam Elliott!
On Saturday and Sunday each week Linda continues working in the Restaurant. She is a role model for us all. Her friendly smile is electric she is a wonderful lady………..Buena Park Rotary meets each week on Wednesday at noon….. visitors are welcome….lunch cost is $11.50.
