Needy Kids Shopping Spree in Buena Park 2010

On Decemer 11th Buena Park Area Service Clubs joined forces to help 200 needy Students. Each child got to shop at Sears, Pay Less Shoes and visit Santa. Buena Park Rotarinas sponsored 10 students this year. Our High School Interact clubs from Buena Park High, Savanna High and Villa Park High volunteered for the event. Club President Christiane Salts, President Elect Beth Swift, Rotarians: Maha Rayan, Baron Night, Dennis Salts and Rotarian Miller Oh helped to make it all happen. Their were 200 happy Kids who received about $175 in Christmas Gifts. The Joy of Christmas was shared by all. Amoung the many volunteers were: Art Brown, Ruth Walp, Kelsey Quinn, Joe Roderhaven, John Poston, Pat Donnelly, Don McCay, and many more.
